The all-Poland Trade Union “Fizjoterapia” is open to qualified physiotherapists, massage therapists as well as related professions. It acts in the whole country gathering employees connected with physiotherapy and working in several dozen centres in the whole country.

Our Trade Union acts on the basis of the statute, in compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, the Act on Trade Unions as well as other acts and international conventions. Our Trade can be a member of national and international trades taking the same or similar acting.

The aim of our Trade is to represent and protect dignity, employees rights and occupational interests of the members in the scope of work performed, material status, living and cultural conditions as well as safety regulations.
Our tasks are carried out by:

• representing the members towards the employers, central government bodies as well as local government,
• integration of physiotherapy community and reinforcing its team solidarity in mutual relations,
• shaping ethical attitudes of the members,
• protection of our job and acting towards raising its prestige and social status,
• providing our members with the possibility to improve their professional qualifications within postgraduate
• studies as well as continuing their education at colleges,
• aspiring to provide a suitable amount of minimum salary for our members as well as providing them and their families with satisfactory living conditions,
• creating possibilities of working in safe and hygienic conditions by means of fully operable equipment – in accordance with legally binding regulations and standards,
• enabling our members to have professional relations with members in other countries as part of experience exchange as well as approving candidates for training abroad,
• choosing candidates to represent our trade in the international arena.
